Russky Island

The government determined the basic concept of the Russian island from 2017 to 2027, the concept is implemented in 2 stages:

• Stage 1: it is planned to create, in particular, a center for international cooperation with congress and exhibition, hotel and office infrastructure, a nuclear medicine center, a tourist and recreational center for objects of the natural complex of the Russky island, a multifunctional family center with a water park, a tourist complex «Vladivostok Fortress», innovative -cultural Center.
• Stage 2: it is planned to implement investment projects and further develop the infrastructure of the Russky Island (development of the infrastructure of the Far Eastern Federal University, creation of a technology-innovative park, etc.). (2023-2027 years).

The island is a SEZ TRT (special economic zone of tourist and recreational type).

Russky Island will become a driver for the development of tourism in the Far East, such a concept for the development of the territory was set out in the concept for the development of the region until 2035.
